Balancing upside down is hard and it takes a lot of practice, there’s no way around that. But the question is, do you know what to practice?
There is a common misconception that all we have to do is be very strong in the core to be able to do these things, but there is much more to work on than just that. Inversions are beautiful balance of technique, strength, flexibility, consistency & trust in ourselves.
This 2 part series is designed to give you two things:
1. The proper technique & training approach to feeling comfortable & mastering these skills overtime
2. A fun way to play around with them in a yoga practice to keep you inspired
Each class will be a challenging dynamic vinyasa style yoga practice that will be designed to condition your body for inversions. During the class there will be plenty of opportunities to be upside down including wall work, partner work, & free balance.
If you have been curious about inversions and don't know where to start this is a good place. If you already have a well developed inversion practice & you are looking to have some fun with them and take it to the next level this is the place to do it. Wherever you are in your journey, there will be options for you to explore.
There are no requirements to be able to attend this masterclass aside from the willingness to challenge yourself.
